The fantastic result achieved using cryo-electron microscopy was posted on
the same day (May 22, 2020) by two groups on the bioRxih server.
One study is led by Holger Stark, a biochemist and electron microscopist at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen, while the other’s leaders were Sjors Scheres and Radu Aricescu, structural biologists at the Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology (MRC-LMB) in Cambridge, UK.
A brief description of the discovery and its significance can be read in the Nature News .
