Our distinguished colleague György Vámosi reports on an award his workplace has earned. To be on the 50 list of the most outstanding is a great achievement, congratulation to him and his colleagues from the bottom of our hearts!
We hope that this award will also raise awareness of the possibility of cooperation with the imaging centre in Debrecen among many MMT members.
“The “Cellular Imaging Hungary Euro-BioImaging Node” of the University of Debrecen, an accredited member of the Euro-BioImaging ERIC, the European Consortium of Microscopy Service Laboratories, has been included in the list of the 50 best infrastructured Hungarian research sites of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office.
The certificates of recognition were awarded by Minister of Innovation and Technology László Palkovics on 16 December 2021 at an event held at the Szentágothai János Research Centre of PTE.
Currently, 4 institutions are participating in the Node: the University of Debrecen (coordinator), Semmelweis University, ELKH Szeged Biological Research Centre and Femtonics Ltd. The Node provides access to modern microscopy techniques and evaluation methods for academic and industrial users.
The Node is represented on the EuBI Board by György Vámosi and on the Panel of Nodes by János Szöllősi. Information on available instruments and methods can be found on the EuBI website.”
